Security Specialist with a focus on security protection

Location: Stockholm (head office)

The Security Protection Department is responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with security protection legislation. The role includes ongoing analyses and assessments, implementation and follow-up of security protection measures, and advising the business.

As part of the Security business area, you will work closely with colleagues in the security organization to develop and strengthen the company's overall capability in both operational protection and security protection.

We are now looking for an experienced and dedicated Security Specialist focused on security protection. You will be based at our head office in Stockholm. Travel may be required to utilize your expertise in other locations. The role involves extensive collaboration with various functions within the organization as well as with customers, supervisory authorities, owners, and suppliers. Therefore, we place great importance on both your professionalism and your personal qualities.

The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period.

We are looking for someone who has

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or other education combined with work experience deemed equivalent

  • At least three years of documented experience in qualified security work with a focus on security protection

  • Very good knowledge of security protection legislation and associated regulations

  • Experience working with analyses, plans, assessments, and agreements

  • Experience conducting background checks and security clearance interviews

  • Experience developing and conducting training tailored to the needs of the business

  • Ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and establish good relationships

  • A structured and meticulous working method with a good ability to prioritize

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and actively contribute to teamwork

Meritorious

  • Experience from a similar role, preferably within a supervisory authority

  • Experience in security-sensitive operations

  • Experience working within a signals protection organization

  • Pedagogical ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practically applicable solutions in the business

SOS Alarm conducts background checks and security clearance with registry checks on its staff according to the requirements of the security protection act (2018:585). A check according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies is also performed and is active during the employment period. A drug test without remarks is a prerequisite for employment. The position also entails military placement at SOS Alarm.
